Albendazole USP 152 mg

Color: Tartrazine & Brilliant Blue

Active Principle: Albendazole is anthelmintic compound belonging to the chemical class of the benzimidazoles.

Mode of Action: Albex-152 causes degenerative alterations in the intestinal cells of the worm by binding to the colchicine-sensitive site of tubulin, thus inhibiting its polymerization or assembly into microtubles. The loss of the cytoplasmic microtubules leads to impaired uptake of glucose by the larval and adult stages of the susceptible parasites, and depletes their glycogen stores.

Indications: Albex-152 used in control and Treatment of Gastrointestinal and Pulmonary Nematodes, Cestodes andTrematodes.
