About CLOSANVET 6000
Composition:
Each uncoated bolus contains:
Closantel 6000mg
Excipients qs.
Mode of action:
1. Closantel bolus acts by uncoupling oxidative phosphorylation in the parasite mitochondrie.
2. This results in interruption of electron transport associated events resulting in disruption of ATP production.
Depletion of energy kills the suceptible parasite.
Indications:
Closanvet bolus is a long acting Ectendoparasiticidal. Acts against Endoparasites Fasciola gigantica, F.hepatica, Haemonchus Spp, Bunostomum spp, Oesophagostomum spp, Trichostrongylus spp.
Ectoparasites - Ticks, Lice, mange mites.
Dosage: 1/2 Bolus for 300 kg B.wt orally.
(Dose - 10 mg/kg B.wt)
Withdrawal period:
Milk: Not to be used in lactating animals.
Producing milk for human consumption.
Meat: 28 days
