MODE OF ACTION:
-Ceftriaxone is bactericidal in action. Highly stable in the presence of betalactamase, penicillinase,cephalosperinase enzymes.
-"Sulbactam" inhibits, betalactamase and also has got moderate antibiotic properties.
-TRIAX-S produces synergistic action.
-"TRIAX-S" group has a wide antibacterial spectrum.
-Effective against Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria.
Species Susceptible: Steptococcus agalactiae, dysgalactiae, Escherichia coli, Brucella, Pasteurella spp.
INDICATIONS: Respiratory tract infections, Urogenital tract infections, Mastitis, Meningitis, Skin and soft tissue infections.
Dosage and Administration: 5 mg/kg body weight by IM and IV routes after administration.
