COMAXVET-S-0.3

Each vial contains:

Sterile Amoxycillin Sodium IP

Equivalent to Amoxycillin 200mg

Sulbactam Sodium USP

Equivalent to Sulbactam 100mg

Sterile water for injection IP 5ml

COMAXVET-S-3

Each vial contains:

Sterile Amoxycillin Sodium IP

Equivalent to Amoxycillin 2000mg

Sulbactam Sodium USP

Equivalent to Sulbactam 1000mg

Sterile water for injection IP 15ml

COMAXVET-S-4.5

Each vial contains:

Sterile Amoxycillin Sodium IP

Equivalent to Amoxycillin 3000mg

Sulbactam Sodium USP

Equivalent to Sulbactam 1500mg

Sterile water for injection IP 20ml

MODE OF ACTION:

-Amoxycillin Interferes with bacterial cell wall synthesis and normal cell wall morphology, there by producing antibacterial effects.

-Sulbactam inhibits Betalactamase enzyme, Protects Amoxycillin form the action of Betalactamase produced by microorganisms.

-Sulbactam has also got mild antibacterial action.

-COMAXVET-S produces the optimum antibacterial action.

DOSAGE:

Large animals:

4 to 7 mg/kg body weight by IM or IV for 3 to 5 days (once a day)

Small animals:

5 to 10 mg/kg body weight IM or IV for 3 to 5 days.
