Each vial contains:

Sterile Ceftriaxone sodium IP

Equivalent to Ceftriaxone 500mg

Tazobactam sodium USP

Equivalent to Tazobactam 62.5mg

MODE OF ACTION: TRIAX-TAZ enhanced efficacy against beta-lactameses and extended spectrum, beta-lactameses producing organisms, And produce synergistic action. Drug of choice against E.Coli, Streptococcal & Staphylococcal infections causing Mastitis.

Spectrum of Activity:

Gram -ve organisms: Actinobacillus spp, Borrelia burgdorferi, Citrobacter spp, Enterobacter aerogenses, Enterobacter vulgaris, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella spp, Serratia marcescen, Shigella spp.

Gram +ve organisms: Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus dysyalactiae, Staphylococcus agalactiae, Staphylococcus uberis, Staphylococcus bovis, Staphylococcus zooepidemicus.

INDICATIONS: Respiratory tract infections, Urinary tract infections, Mastitis caused by strepto & Staphylococcus organisms. Urogenital tract infections, Bone & joint infections, Meningitis, Septicaemia, Gestro-INtestinal infections, Pre and post surgical management.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

Livestock: 5-10 mg/kg body weight by IM or IV routes for 3-5 days.(Use the reconstituted product immediately)

Canine: 15-25 mg/ kg body weight by IM or IV routes for 3-5 days. (Use the reconstituted product immediately)

Equines: 25mg/kg body weight by IM or IV routes for 3-5 days. (Use the reconstituted product immediately)
